“Concert for Help” in Prague.

The film music concert, “Concert for Help”, took place in Prague today. Jan’s music was played at Rudolfinum, as a part of a charity concert co-organised by the League Against Cancer. Parts of “Finding Neverland” were played, among others, by the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Nic Reine (UK) and accompanied by the Prague Philharmonic Choir.

“A Look of Freedom. Jan A.P. Kaczmarek Live in Concert” comprises both a CD and a DVD. The album contains the DVD with the world premiere of “O.O” („Otwarte Okno” - „Open Window”) in Warsaw and a CD with additional pieces, like: “Finding Neverland”, “Unfaithfull’, “Passchendaele”, „Hachiko”.

Concert in Berlin

Within the cultural program of Polish Presidency of the EU Council 2011 and to celebrate the National Independence Day, November the 11th, Polish Embassy organized Jan’s concert. The ceremony was held in the Haus des Rundfunks – broadcasting house. The concert was performed by l’Autunno Orchestra.

Concert in Brussels


The concert of Jan A.P. Kaczmarek’s music took place in Brussels, at the church of Notre Dame de la Chapelle, within the cultural program of Polish Presidency of the EU Council 2011. The concert was performed by l’Autunno Orchestra from Poznań, conducted by  Adam Banaszek.

Golden Platinium for Jan

During Henryk Mikołaj Górecki’s Polish Composers Festival in Bielsko Biała Jan was awarded the Golden Platinium for his album released in the series “Wielcy Kompozytorzy Filmowi” (Great Film Music Composers) by Agora.

Transatlantyk Poznan International Film and Music Festiival

TRANSATLANTYK Poznan International Film and Music Festival, founded by Jan, opens today! 170 films, 40 Polish premieres, Master Classes with acclaimed Polish and international guests, two competitions for young composers: Transatlantyk Film Music Competition and Instant Composition Contest with international jury, as well as classical, contemporary and club music concerts.
